I didn't really deserve that....

I had been feeling a bit nervous before weigh in tonight because of my bad week. Even though I did Fast Start for 3 days and did extra swimming, I was still expecting a small gain or stay the same. But, to my suprise I lost 1.5lb!! How the hell did that happen?! I have now lost 16.5 overall, WW flipping works! I have gone from 17st 13lb to 16st 10.5lb in 6 weeks.

I am planning head for a small blip this weekend. We are at home to Aston Villa this weekend ans as there are only 3 home games left I want to make the most of them and make it a proper footie day out. This generally includes beer and pie, but with the right food in the days before and after, and plenty of swimming I can still do that.

I have found that I am often going over on days, mainly at weekends but looking at my points on a weekly basis I am still ok. Plus I never count my activity points. The things is though, if I didn't have one treat day a week I think I would go a bit potty and give it all up. Even if it means that it takes an extra couple of months to lose the 5 billion stone I need to lose then as long as I get there in the end, then that's all that matters :o)

Speaking of which, Magnus is out with mates tonight, Emily is at her Dads and I am points under. Tonight Wine and Marco Pierre White will be keeping me company.

Bad week

Well, when everyone else had their bad time during Easter, mine came the week after.

It started last Thursday as we went for a meal with it being Carl and Ewa's last night. I didn't count points at all that night. Then on Friday night me and Magnus had a night out, and I probably drank a days worth of points!!

I kind of got back on track with the swimming, and I did a mile on Saturday and Sunday, but didn't track my points. I am doing Fast Start 18 points a day during the week this week, and keeping going with my swimming. It's been a blip, but my heart is still in it - I'm still dreading weigh in on wednesday though!

Weigh In 15/04/2009

I have just been weighed and I have lost 2.5lb this week, which got me my second silver 7. That's 15lb in total now. I am really pleased as it has been harder over Easter and having visitors here. Plus I had all that beer and curry on Saturday night!

Now we are taking Carl to Laser Quest, so maybe I can burn off an extra few calories by running around like a mad woman and shooting people!!

Carl and Ewa go home on Friday. It will be sad to say goodbye when they go home to Sweden, but much easier to keep a track of my eating and points and it will be back to normal life.

I am now hoping to lose 13lb before 30th May when I go on holiday to Spain to see Mum and Dad. That will be 2 stone in total and hopefully noticeable for them to see how well I am doing. I am really feeling the weight loss in my clothes, but other than Magnus (he doesn't count) no one has commented or noticed that I have lost weight yet. I guess it's still a bit too early but I am looking forward to my first comments.

Better go, I have people to shoot!!

Got through Easter...

Morning!

It's been a busy week with Carl and Ewa visiting from Sweden. It's been great fun and good that I have had so much to do as it keeps my mind busy and also I have been on the move a lot

I have only had one bad day, which I planned ahead for by saving points and getting some extra exercise in. Dave and Bobby visiting also on Saturday and we went for a curry. I didn't count points that night, and allowed myself to drink lager (it just goes so much better with curry!). Goodness knows how many poits I consumed that night but like before when we went out for Magnus' birthday, I didn't stuff myself stupid. I just had a cheeky weigh in on my Wii Fit and it looks like I have still lost weight, so fingers crossed for tomorrow at Weigh In as I am not too sure about the accuracy about the Wii Fit.

Time to go and get the picnic ready for our day out. We are off to Smithills Open Farm in Bolton. We went 2 years ago at Easter with the kids and it's a lovely time of year to go as you can feed the lambs and hold baby rabbits and chicks.

Will be back tomorrow with the weigh in results. I really want to lose 1.5lb as that will give me my first stone.

Weigh In Day

I don't have time to write much as we have family visiting, and I also need to make dinner.

I have just been to my weigh in and lost 3.5lb this week :o)

I'm happy, thats's 12.5lb so far. WeightWatchers is working!

Woo - I'm shrinking!

I got in the smaller jeans! Less than two weeks after buying them when they were inches off fastening, I am now wearing them :o). I actually got them fastened last week but I wouldn't have been able to walk or sit down so I really went for it with the swimming and it's all paid off.

I had a bit of a bad day on Saturday and went about 6 points over. We went to the game, and Bolton won 4-1 YAY! We had a brill day out and went out later hence me going over on points. I didn't mind too much and refuse to feel guilty - hell if I live strict life all the time I am only going to fail - got to have those treats. I balanced it out by saving points yesterday and making sure I did a bit extra in the pool yesterday and this morning.

Carl and Ewa arrive from Sweden tonight for 11 days so it's going to be fun to see how I get on over Easter. They are bound to want me to make Lasagne as it's their favorite, and I know it's laden with points. I'll just have a smaller portion, skip the garlic bread and have a pile of salad.

I'll be back on Wednesday to let you know how my weigh in goes :o)

Magnus Birthday

Good evening!

I feel on top of the world today. I had my weigh in and had lost an amazing 5.5lb! I couldn't believe it, and my WW leader was sooo pleased. She asked me infront of everyone how I had managed such a good loss and I said I had really gone mad on exercise this week knowing I was going to have a bad night tonight.

So, after such a good loss, I went out tonight to Chaophraya in Manchester and pigged out on the most gorgeous Thai food. Well, I say pigged out... Even though I didn't count points and know I went well over my daily allowance, I stopped at full instead of stuffed. I didn't plan this (I had secretly been looking forward to a pig out) but I just didn't feel the need to carry on eating.

I am hoping this is a sign of my new way of thinking, a new lifestyle. Even so, I still need to be up early tomorrow to start swimming off the extra points.

Bring on next week and my fat fat fat gone!!!!
